报告人简介：

Prof. Ranjith Pathegama Gamage is a renowned engineering researcher with a focus on developing sustainable solutions to combat climate change and enhance mineral recoveries, at Monash University Australia. His innovative work in geomechanical processes and their application to energy extraction and storage has placed him at the forefront of efforts to address some of the 21st century's most pressing challenges. Recognized for his significant contributions to the global economy and sustainability, Prof. Ranjith was inducted as a Fellow into the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering in 2019. His international impact is further acknowledged by his election as a Foreign Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2023 and the Indian National Academy of Engineering in 2022. Through his leadership at Monash University, he has mentored countless young researchers, propelling their careers and advancing scientific understanding and innovation
