The College of Civil and Transportation Engineering,Shenzhen University and Underground Polis Academy,Shenzhen University have put the philosophy of General Secretary Xi Jinping that "we must establish and practice the concept that green water and green mountains are the silver mountain of gold and adhere to the basic state policy of saving resources and protecting the environment" into practice and implemented the important instructions of "writing theses on the earth of the motherland" and "four directions". In order to implement the important instructions of "write your thesis on the motherland" and "Four Orientations", we have conducted a series of scientific researches over the years, focusing on the scientific and technological problems of environmental protection in major projects. We have carried out indoor tests, field tests on treatment processes and equipment, what kind of resources can be processed and how to use them, as well as the development of corresponding standards and guidelines. Systematic research on hardware and software.

Awarded by: Shenzhen Metro, Shenzhen University, China Central Railway, etc.

The College carried out scientific and educational work in accordance with the concept of "cross-disciplinary integration of research and development using major engineering science and technology problems, leading the College to breakthroughs in scientific and technological research and development and exploration of teaching mode" proposed by Academician Chen Xiangsheng. Among them, Assistant Professor Sun Xiaohui presided over the project and Associate Professor Duan Huabo, Professor Liu Jian and Professor Ding Chuang participated in the "Research on the Development and Application of Intelligent Equipment System for Efficient Resourceful Utilization of Shield Residue". In this project, Assistant Professor Sun Xiaohui, together with China Railway Southern Investment Group Co Ltd and China Railway Engineering Services Co Ltd, developed an intelligent, integrated and modular shield slag high-efficiency resource utilisation system, forming intelligent equipment and a complete set of resource utilisation technology. Associate Professor Duan Huabo was responsible for conducting research on the management and supporting policies for the resourceful disposal of shield structure slag, Professor Liu Jian was responsible for compiling the Technical Guide for the Reduction and Harmless Disposal and Resourceful Utilisation of Shield Structure Slag in Shenzhen Metro, and Professor Ding Casting was responsible for compiling the Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau's Technical Guidelines for the Treatment of Engineering Slurry by Mechanical Filter Press Method at Construction Sites in Shenzhen (for trial implementation). During the project research, the team published 7 academic papers and declared 9 invention/utility model patents, 5 of which have been granted; among them, Assistant Professor Sun Xiaohui further dug into the scientific problems in the efficient resource utilization of shield slag and was awarded 1 project on the surface of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

With the support of Shenzhen Metro Group Co Ltd, it has provided central enterprises such as China Railway, China Construction, China Power Construction, China Communications Construction, China Railway Construction and other central enterprises with complete sets of technology, intelligent equipment and standard specification guidelines for the resourceful, reduced and harmless treatment of shield slag in all lines of Shenzhen Metro. A total of 84 units (sets) of processing equipment have been built to successfully resource, reduce and harmlessly treat shield slag, turning waste into treasure. Through the promotion of this shield slag treatment technology, the Shenzhen Metro Phase IV project has reduced the shield slag outbound transportation by more than one million cubic metres, reducing the landfill area by thousands of mu and saving hundreds of millions of yuan in slag outbound transportation costs, playing an important role of Shenzhen University in leading innovation in major livelihood projects. It has provided core scientific and technological achievements to help Shenzhen to build a pioneering demonstration zone of socialism with Chinese characteristics and a model city of beautiful China.
